About Marketing was set up in May 2007 by Rosie Dunne and Yvonne Walsh. We identified a niche in the market for small to medium sized businesses who require marketing assistance but didn't have the resources or the need to employ a full-time marketing executive. From our Kilkenny base we offer affordable marketing solutions to many customers across the South East and Dublin.

 

Rosie and Yvonne became firm friends whilst studying Marketing in the College of Marketing & Design in Dublin. Both graduated from DIT and Trinity College with honours degrees.

 

Rosie went on to work in many varied marketing roles in First Active for 9 years and GE Money (formerly GE Capital Woodchester) for 3 years. She moved from her role as Head of Marketing there to set up About Marketing.  In her spare time Rosie likes to relax with friends and is renowned for her contagious laugh!

 

Yvonne went on to become a Qualified Financial Advisor and was involved in the Financial Services Sector and sales for many years. Both bring to the table different skill sets and come together to form a unique partnership.
